Nickelodeon invites you and your family to celebrate the eight annual Worldwide Day of Play with Let’s Move!
On the Ellipse on Saturday, September 24th from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. The event will feature fun for the entire family, including appearances from the cast of iCarly, Victorious, performances by Big Time Rush and The Fresh Beat Band, as well as health and wellness activities from major sports leagues and community-based organizations.

Portrait Story Days
The Wright Brothers

Education Center, first floor
Special themed activities will feature a hands-on art project and a story. Young visitors may drop in to listen to a story about the aviators Orville and Wilbur Wright and create a special piece of art in the Portrait Gallery's education center. This program is sponsored in part by the Reinsch Family Education Endowment.
- 11th annual National Book Festival, organized and sponsored by the Library of Congress, on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama are honorary chairs for the event. The festival is free and open to the public.
