I put this note out on various parent listserves and decided to post on our blog so people can see the calendar of events...the form for folks to indicate their availability is below the calendar.
Interested in urban hikes? I am on maternity leave this summer with my 2nd kiddo and wondering if there are other moms or dads interested in meeting up to do some "urban hiking" around town. I live in Columbia Heights (but used to be in Adams Morgan) and love to tackle the various trails in Rock Creek/Glover Archbold/Battery Kemble Park/tributaries (with baby in Ergo) but also game to walk central DC's various bike trails or sidewalks with stroller-based folks. Am specifically interested in outings between 9:30-3 while my older kiddo is in school/camp, and we don't have a car so I need to start off on trailheads accessible via public transportation (ie no MD or upper Northwest unless it is off of 16th).
