Announcing the grassroots candidate for president...

A quick post to highlight this important story about an important candidate not getting enough publicity during the campaign: The Rookie!
And, for those who want to see the Rookie in action (kind of) during an August 31 peach picking trip with Kate, Farber and Chris, check out Kate's pics (the latter ones are of her camping trip to a favorite spot on the Shenandoah River in George Washington National Forest that the Rookie visited back in June).
Obviously, no "I've gone into labor" news to report, and instead my weekend is full of plans to hang out with friends before life gets even more complicated. It's beautiful here in DC-- just celebrated by heading out to lunch and then ice cream with Kate. Tonight, the Rookie will be cheering on the Red Sox as they start their series against the Rays. Yoo-hoo!
