Another blog post from a gushing Aunt Kate...!
The infamous Rookie was born at 6:25pm, weighing in at 7 lbs, 10.6 oz and a loooong 21 3/4 inches. And, of course, he's beautiful and perfect.
Mom, Chris and the Rookie (as yet to be named!) are doing very well and resting comfortably at the Washington Hospital Center. For those that are local, there are ample visiting hours (10am-9pm) for the next 1.5 days before they head home -- but please call them first to make sure they're up for it. Then, if all goes well, they'll be home on Thursday.
