Just a quick post from Aunt Kate as we wait at the Washington Hospital Center: Mer and Chris and the Rookie are doing great, especially considering the Rookie's valiant efforts over the past 30 hours to delay his major league debut as long as possible!
Mer and Chris decided to come over here this morning, and are now resting comfortably (thanks to an administered epidural) before the big push. Our best guess: the Rookie will likely not get called up before lunch, but probably will arrive by dinner.
